Wow it's been a while since I have posted. It seems like I'm the only one that ever post anything on this blog and I haven't really had time to in a while. Not a lot has changed everyone is good and healthy. I'll try and see if i can get a family pic and put it on here but that probably wont happen for a while. I'll try and keep updating as often as I can but there really isn't anything interesting going on right now. Maybe there will be something interesting that will happen so I can blog it.

The spelling bee is tomorrow and I am not sure if I'm excited or nervous. Tomorrow I have to get up around 7:00am because I must be there no later than 9:00am. When i get to the studio in Dallas I will check in at the security gate and then enter the studio and they will feed us a light breakfast and right after that we will have a little orientation and do a quick run through. So I have a very hectic morning ahead of me so I'll need to get a lot of rest. Tonight I am going to look over all the words and make sure I am ready. The spelling bee is going to be on WFAA Channel 8 News and it is live. I am only aloud to bring two guests and the guests I will be taking are my Dad and either my Mom or Allie it depends. Only one guest will be able to enter the studio where I will be at, the other will go into a different studio to watch it on TV due to fire safety things. Lots and lots to prepare for and I am very nervous so wish me luck and try to watch me on TV!!!

Spelling Bee!!!

Well yall all know I will be competing in the 2010 Spelling Bee in Dallas. The spelling bee is Saturday March, 20th and it will be aired live in the Dallas Morning News studio and it starts at 11:00 am. I will be leaving for Dallas later next week and I will study as hard as I can. Wish me luck!!

Hi it's Sarah. I have some big news to share. Last week I won our school's spelling bee and the oppurtunity to represent Red River County in the Dallas Morning News 53rd Annual Spelling Bee in Dallas on March 20th. (Last year part of it was broadcast on TV.) I had to beat everyone in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.

Wow it has been a while since I have posted. I have been so busy with school,a nd extra things. Well Christmas is coming up and im so excited. Its my favorite holiday because I get to spend tiem with my family. Just last night we finally got our Christmas tree up. Sarah and I decorated it all by ourselves. I'm so pround of us I think we did a good job. This year was different for me and Sarah because we picked our own present out this year. The really big present that we got this year was queen size beds. I was so excited when went and go them. Well thats all I have for now.

Sorry I haven't posted any pictures. I really haven't had time I promise I will though. Well we had so much fun we walked along the beach, we went to Big Sur and we ate at Nepentha's. It was really go but it was really high prices. We also went on the 17 mile drive and went to Pebble Beach. We also walked all up and down Cannery Row. Went to Ghirardelli's and they have the best chocolate I have ever tasted. We also went to Myo which if you don't know you choose a frozen yogurt and put what ever kinds of toppings you want on it. Also we went to Fish Hopper. They have the best clam chowder. It was creamy and rich an me Sarah got it in a bread bowl. Well that all I can think of will post pictures as soon as I can I will probably post some pictures in minute.

Well we are here. We are having so much fun. The baby is so cute. I will post pictures when we get back. We drove over the Golden Gate Bridge. It was so cool. Yesterday we went to the aquarium it was so cool I got a lot of pictures at the aquarium. We also went walking around Cannery Row. Well I going to and hang with Amanda and them. I will be sure to put picture on the blog as soon as I can.

Well tomorrow is the big day. We are finally leaving to go to California tomorrow. Our flight leaves at 6:45a.m. or its supposed to but that means we have to get up around 4:00a.m. I need to sleep really good to night. We get there around 12:00 California time. Before we head to Monterey we are going to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. Which is awesome!!!! Well I will post picture maybe tomorrow night. If not sometime this week.

We can't wait to go California.We are going next weekend on the 12. It is going to be so much fun, but the only thing that isn't going to be fun is when we have to get up early the morning that we go. We have to get up around 5:00 a.m. because our plane leaves at 6:45a.m. I'm not use to getting up that early well i kind of am because I have to get up at 6:30a.m. for school but I have been sleeping till almost 10:00a.m. now that school is out.Well thats all for now. The Jonas Brothers Concert was awesome!!!!!! The band honor Society was pretty good they opened for Jordan Sparks. Then Jordan Sparks sang and she's great!!! Then finally the Jonas Brothers came on and very one started screaming including me and Sarah. Me and Sarah both think that Nick is the cutest one. It was cool they sang all there new and old song and then Jordan Sparks came out and the played Battlefield with her. The next part was the one of the best parts. Miley Cyrus came out and sang a duet with Nick it was really good. Another cool thing they did is they had water come down on the being and the end of there song Love Bug which was also awesome. Also another cool part is when the stages lifted up and when they where on one stages they sprayed the crowed with foam or something. Well thats all that i can think of that was cool. Oh but the stadium was huge and so cool. Well now thats all i have to say. I'll put some pictures on later.

My cousin Justin is so crazy. He thinks the New Kids On The Block are better than the Jonas Brothers.I think the Jonas Brothers are way better than the New Kids On The Block. You all leave a comment a say which one you like better!!!!!

Me and Sarah are going to the Jonas Brothers concert at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. It is going to be so awesome!!!!!!!! WE can't wait to go. Our awesome cousin Ashley is taking us. Tuesday is my parents anniversary. The will be married for 19 years. I'm so happy for them. Well I'm back we have allot to do. Yesterday I had my band concert. One song we played was Low Rider. You all probably know the song from George Lopez. Everyone thought we were good but we weren't the only band that played. There was the Honor Band and the High School Band. For all of you that don't know what I play I play clarinet. New Instrument

Today we had band tryouts at school and i tried out to play the flute. They said I definitly had it so I will be playing the flute next year in band. I'm very excited. I only have 4 and 1/2 of a day left. So soon its California here we come! We'll get get to see little Adah and see the beautiful ocean so I'm very excited.

Finally some news!!!!!!

The Sparkman family is headed to the Monterey Peninsula!
On July 12th we will fly, actually hop, west to San Francisco. (We say hop because the plane takes off in Dallas, stops in El Paso, then flys to Pheonix, where we change planes and fly on to San Francisco. I don't think we will be in the air long enough for our ears to pop!

We are renting, of all things, a convertable PT Cruiser to drive down to Monterey. We will probably have to hire someone to keep people away from it while it is parked in public. (har har)

We haven't made our hotel reservations yet so we don't know where we are staying.

We are returning on July 16th.

The girls are excited, to say the least.

This is the first digital utterances for the Sparkman family blog. This blog was created after the persistent urging of Cyber Savvy Sarah. With the help of her sister, AOL (Allie On-Line), they will share with family and friends the latest news and views from Red River County wilderness.

Well for starters I'm very excited to have a blog. I just thought maybe the family would like to see whats going on. Well whats been going on with me is school. We already took two of three TAKS test this year. We took the reading test first and i made commended performance. I only missed two out of fifty two questions! I'm so happy thats over. We just took the math test on the 8th and I'm still waiting on the scores. Soon we will be taking the science test and I want to pass it so I want to get it overwith. Also I was nominated to go to a camp studying math,science, and technology.Only four of the ten people in 5th grade can go so I am hoping I get picked. Thats really all I have to say . Have a great Easter.

Hey so awesome to have a blog. This weekend has gone by fast ,tonight is my last night to stay up late till next weekend. Well what has gone on so far this weekend is we didn't go to school on Friday so mom, Sarah, and I and my friend Stormy went shopping I got some high heel wegdge shoes and an easter dress its so cute. Then we we got home my friend stormy spent the night so we had fun. We stayed up late and talked and stuff. Today we played outside on the trampoline all day till about 1:15 and then at 4:00 we went to our niece Maddy's birthday party it was fun because it was at the park and she was cute. Tomorrow we're going to church and then we're having lunch with the family. Thats what has gone on so far. We'll post picture soon. Thats all for now.
